Job Description If you are a problem solver who gets results and continuously drives improvement, Perrigo is looking for you, to play the role of a Lean Sigma Corporate Black Belt.
As a Perrigo Lean Sigma Corporate Black Belt and a member of the Global Continuous Improvement Program Office (CIPO) it is your job to collaborate with management to create and maintain a continuous improvement and customer focused culture. Typically this is a developmental position with a 2-3 year commitment within the CIPO and transition to other areas at that time. You will work to align and prioritize multiple projects to fit within senior leaderships vision, strategy and plans. This customer focused role facilitates process improvements, change management and develops employees Lean Sigma skills by teaching and mentoring them on Lean and Six Sigma principles, concepts, methodologies and tools. Completed projects will be evaluated based on analysis of the overall value/process stream and confirmation that efforts result in true bottom line gains versus functional optimizations.
The Lean Sigma Corporate Black Belt will lead Lean Sigma continuous improvement projects and kaizens that deliver significant business results by defining, prioritizing and addressing business issues and needs through collecting and analyzing appropriate data, identifying root causes, driving to solution and monitoring and measuring to ensure sustainability. Black belts proactively challenge the system and support the evolution to a culture that is relentless about improvement. The ability to communicate with all levels of employees across cultures and the ability to maintain strong business relationships with business partners, sponsors and process owners is key.
Some travel will be required both domestically and internationally. Typical work hours will be Mon-Fri 8am 5 pm; however, data collection and training will require shift work as necessary.
